In order to keep my copy experience as concise and interactive as possible, I chose to create a bespoke, multi-faceted sample.
For this, I leaned on AI, Creative Commons licensees, and a fictional band that stays inspired due to a fig encased in amber.
Without further ado, meet AmberFig!
Artist Bio
AmberFig is Sarah Jensen (vocals, guitars) and Raine Astor-Lindgren (drums, synth). We create dream-pop landscapes, inspired by the greatness of the Fig of Power; a symbol of inseparable unity.
We are soon to release our second full-length album, following our tour across Europe. It’s a more complete sum of what AmberFig means, expanding on our influences of jazz, psych rock, dream pop and bedroom pop, while drawing from other less familiar sounds.
We hope to delight you with Cloud Tiger, available the second week of May! We’ll announce tour info around that time, so follow our socials to stay in the know!

Good news, Fig Friends! Pre-orders for our new album, “Cloud Tiger“, are available now here!
Vinyl and CD formats will arrive starting on MAY 28th, 2024.
The album will release on streaming platforms on MAY 29th, 2024.
We really put our love into making this album, and we believe it shows. So keep your Fig of Power plushies in hand, find a nice quiet place, and get lost in our dreamscapes!
Raine put it best when she described the mix to me: “It’s like how chocolate melts in your mouth, but for music. It rewards patience.”
